Adventured over to Vashon Island for the first time with these two. We started the day off with a yummy brunch at the well-known Hardware Store restaurant and followed it up with a little coffee to get our bodies going after all that goodness. We then made our way over to the loveliest of homes owned by the loveliest of ladies with views of the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier and almost every cute animal you could think of! A dog, cat, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and get ready for it...miniature horses! It truly was such a gorgeous day in the PNW, the sun was shining, and love was in the air. Looking forward to capturing more Ihlae and Josh's love story this summer.
Special shoutout to my friend Christina for tagging along. It's always so fun having a friend along for my shoots to help me when I need them and to also give them a little insight into what I love to do. : )

I wasn't quite sure where to begin with this day but I guess we can start with the moment I stepped out of my car and my jaw dropped to the ground. It was a rainy and overcast and I was living for it. The mood was perfect and added to the magic of the day about to unfold. I kid you not, I thought I was on the set of some fairy tale. From the insanely beautiful nursery, to the charming old school house and bathhouse, to all the flowers, the details the nicks and nacks, to the flipping rooster wandering about as he pleased. THIS PLACE. WHAT?! I mean...you guys...my heart was exploding out of my chest.
And to think the day just couldn't get any better from there, it did. Add Emma in her amazing black wedding dress who planned it all and played the piano for her man for the first time in 8 years of dating. Then, there's Caden, soft spoken and kind, who just adores Emma. Add their absolutely incredible family and friends who traveled hours to celebrate these too. Add Emma's parents and their kindness and generosity and their ability to bring all the rentals from their antique shop. Add all the love overflowing from each and every person, the tears of joy shed for this amazing couple and well, we have the most magical wedding of all time.

2018 Couples are coming in hot my friends. To kick start next years wedding season, Marc and Leah brought all the love and fun to their session. My cheeks hurt so bad after this session ya'll. How do I get so lucky with such fun clients that embrace my weirdness? (pinch me) Leah wanted a neighborhood feel while Marc wanted to show off the PNW in all it's glory. I think we hit the nail on the head for both folks. Starting in my charming neighborhood of Upper Queen Anne and ending for sunset at the ever so beautiful Discovery Park (that also just happens to be in the backyard...pinch me again.)
As always, I hope these images make you feel.
